The thing I learn as every year goes by is that my dad was and is a good man. I am the man I am today because of my parents. My Dad taught me dedication, taught me persistence and consistency. He taught me to make my choices, make my decisions and then stand like a man with head up back straight and face the consequences like a man. I am thankful for my dad, and love him very much. I know he doesn't visit my blog, and it is better that way mostly, since he is a pastor and I am an atheist, but I want it to be known without a doubt that I am proud of My Dad, and I understand him a lot more, I also find the older I get that I am more like him every day and have less room to judge him...Happy Father's Day.

Very nice tribute. Have you told him these thoughts? Take advantage of every minute you have with him. Take it from me, the loss of a father changes your perspective quite a bit.
